A B O U T  U S

“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.  Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” 

Isaiah 4:18-19

The Word of God consistently and repeatedly challenges the church to remain relevant in its teachings and ministries.  While we know that God is immutable, never changing, mankind and society does change.  While these changes are inevitable and sometimes rapid, it is imperative that the Church be the prophetic voice that navigates mankind through these treacherous times.  How do we stand up to this awesome task?  We do so by continuously seeking God’s face through prayer, praise and worship.  Over the past ten years God and the people of Mount Calvary have shown their faithfulness.  Together we have achieved everything set forth in God’s plan for our church.  Certainly the job is not done and there is much more for us to do.  He is now calling us to even higher heights and deeper depths in Him.  The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Our God, is now challenging us to do a “new thing” in Him as He does a “new thing” in us.
