The Minister:     Do you accept the office to which you have been elected,
                          and do you promise, the Lord being your helper, to faithfully
                          perform the duties thereof?

The Officers:     I Do; God being my helper.

 

 

The Minister:    (To  the Officers who continued in their positions) Do you gladly
                         receive these new persons  into  the Official Family of this Church,
                         and do you promise to work together as fellow  workers with God
                         and each other?  If so, please indicate your willingness by saying
                         in unison.

The Officers:  I Do.

The Minister:   (To the Congregation) Will you pledge your eager  support to the
                        work of God in this Congregation and in your department, under
                        the leadership of these, your fellow members, who will have been
                        selected to serve in their offices,  and will you renew your vow by
                        standing  and engaging with me in a common covenant?

The Officers
& Members :We will;  God being our helper.

(standing):      Affirming our membership in the Holy Church throughout all the
                       World,  and our fellowship in  this Congregation with those who
                       have obtained alike precious faith,  we renew our vow of
                       fidelity to our Lord Jesus, and solemnly covenant and promise;

​

                       That we will walk together in brotherly love, as is becoming
                       members of a Christian Church; that we will not forsake the
                       assembling of ourselves  together;  that we may teach those
                       who are at anytime under our care in the nurture and admonition
                       of the Lord, and by a pure and holy example, to win all with
                       whom we come in contact to our Savior;  that we will regularly
                       support the work of this Church by systematic giving of our
                       time and money; that we will give our loyal cooperation,
                       with God helping us.
